The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is one of the most competitive engineering entrance exams in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various undergraduate engineering programs, including B.Tech and B.E., at prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs).
JEE Main exam pattern 2025: NTA has released the JEE Main 2024 exam pattern for sessions 1 & 2 at jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates can check the information bulletin to know the JEE paper pattern 20254. The exam pattern comprises the duration of the exam, marking scheme, JEE Mains total marks, and other details. JEE BTech paper carries 30 questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics each. JEE Main 2024 paper 1 consists of 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and 10 numerical value questions, only 5 of which are required. Candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2024 exam must be aware of the NTA JEE syllabus along with the paper pattern. NTA is conducting the JEE Main exam for three hours.
